El Salvador Mission Trip
The El Salvador Mission Trip is coming right up! Fundraising is in full swing, and we here at The Crossing Student Ministries are getting really excited. The following is important information regarding the trip that you will need to pay close attention to as we get closer to launch date.
Here is a breakdown of the cost of the trip.
$382.00 covers 6 days of room and board, food, transportation, translators, clean drinking water, tips, and the visa fee of $10.00
$800.00 for the flight tickets
$18.00 for AGWM Insurance (International Insurance)
Total: $1,200.00 plus any spending money you want to bring along
Flight information is as follows: We will be departing with Continental Airlines out of Houston Intercontinental Airport (George Bush) on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 9:12 am. Our flight number is #1441; we will be landing in San Salvador, El Salvador, at 12:22 pm.
The trip back to Texas departs San Salvador at 12:20 pm on Friday, March 16, on Flight #1468. We will be arriving back at George Bush at 4:33 pm.
The deposit and payment information we will be going by is as follows:
October 19th - A deposit is due in the amount of $50.00
December 10th - Payment will be due in the amount of $350.00
February 1st - Payment will be due in the amount of $400.00
March 1st - Payment will be due in the amount of $400.00
Our contract with Continental will be made by October 18th and will lock in the base ticket price but the taxes and fuel charges are not locked in until full ticketing price is paid.
