37 Days of Prayer: Week 2
When we invoke the promises of God in our prayer, things move. The earth and atmosphere are put on notice and await their instruction. When we pray the word of God, we call heaven and earth to account. We call the atmosphere and all spiritual beings into alignment with His word. We take our rightful place as heirs of the promises of God, expectant to receive our inheritance. We cast off the spirit of a beggar, orphan, or slave. We come “boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
As Mark Batterson says, “Bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers.” So, let’s do just that! Pray bold prayers this week! He invites us to remind Him of His promises. He delights in our bold faith.
