The Gospel of John

The mission of our Life Group is to dive deeply into God's Word and encounter it with our minds and our hearts, to uncover God's declaration and revelation of Himself through Scripture, and actively seek to be more like Jesus.

If you have trouble knowing where to start reading your Bible or need help and accountability with a strong study method, you have come to the right place.  This class will break down each chapter in John word-by-word, and uncover the application God has for our daily lives, while we see Him reveal Himself on every page.

This class is for all women of all ages and backgrounds.  Beginners to advanced, all are lovingly welcomed.

This semester we will be studying John 1-10, and will be using the study method created by Jen Wilkin through Women of the Word.  This method will help students with a clear and concise plan they can use every time they open their Bible.

Pre-requisites for this class include two options:
1) Reading Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin (4-6 hour read)
2) Taking a 5-part video series course by Jen Wilkin (1 hour viewing time)

For more information regarding these options, please contact Lacey Bankhead.

More Than Common

The mission for this group is to connect young women through a meal, fellowship and a light Bible study. Each week, we will discuss a verse commonly heard or seen in society. These verses will be ones we have likely seen on wall decor or mentioned on social media. We will dig deeper into the context of the scripture surrounding the verse and discuss what it means for us in our daily life.

Women Becoming More

Women were created to be in relationship with Christ and with those around them. Our mission is to BE MORE loving, kinder, understanding, giving and compassionate as Christ is to us. We will strive to bring women together to build one another up in the Word and to share the amazing appealing love of Christ to those in our lives who may not know Him in this way.
