Crossing Student Ministry (CSM)
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green. Psalm 92:12-14
Every Wednesday, all of our junior high and high school students are invited to join Crossing Student Ministries. With messages geared towards our youth, it’s our goal to create an experience where students can meet Christ and grow in their relationship with him.
Students are faced with very high-level questions. Who is God really? What difference does He make in my life? Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I know if I’m making the best decisions? The Bible provides relevant answers to questions like these. Our teaching provides biblical, foundational truth with practical application for questions teenagers deal with every day.
Safety is extremely important to us. Our volunteers are background-checked in order to maintain a safe, secure environment for every student. Parents, one of the best ways to keep up with what is going on at CSM is to text csmparent to 31996.
Wednesdays: 7-8:30 pm
Sundays: 9 am and 11 am
Wednesdays: Student Building
Sundays: High School Students (9th-12th Grades)- Front left section of the sanctuary, where seats will be reserved.
Junior High Students (6th-8th Grades) – Kids’ building for worship, a short message, and community groups to discuss questions that pertain to the teaching.
GETTING PLUGGED IN
Every student who walks through our doors on Wednesday night is greeted by a group of excited people ready to welcome you to another heart-pumping night at CSM! One of our leaders will greet you when you walk in and check you into our system to help us get to know you better. Plus, you’ll be able to start getting updates about upcoming events at CSM.
At the end of every CSM experience, students break out into community groups. Life can be difficult and doubts of all kinds can creep in, particularly with teenagers. Having friends and adult leaders is critical to understanding who we are in Christ. Our community groups provide space for students and leaders to talk through tough questions.

Serving Opportunities for Students
We believe students are not the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today. Serving in the church is one of the best ways for students to make their faith their own. By joining the Student Serve Team, students become a vital part of the church and develop their leadership while serving in Crossing Kids or the First Impressions team on Sunday morning, or as a CSM leader on Wednesday night.
To join the Student Serve Team, get in touch with Thomas Breedlove, our Youth Director on a Wednesday night or a Sunday morning or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Serving Opportunities for Adults
Today’s youth will be leading our church tomorrow. It’s important to help them develop a strong foundation of faith and friendships that will help them boldly follow God’s will. Join CSM’s Serve Team and help students discover who they can be through Christ.
